Fluid Energy Processing and Equipment Company, an industry leading chemical processing and manufacturing company for over 50 years, is located just north of Philadelphia, PA. We provide powder processing equipment and systems and high quality custom powder processing services for a variety of customers and industries.  
 
We are currently seeking a qualified individual to fill the role of Director, Business Development. Prior technical sales experience in the pharmaceutical, chemicals, polymers, additives, or bulk powder industries will be helpful. This individual is responsible for key account sales growth and technical sales/service initiatives with new/existing customers.
 
A strong writing ability and excellent communication skills are a must. This candidate must have the ability to identify new opportunities, collect facts and data, develop closing plans and be able to aggressively pursue sales opportunities to increase market share. The candidate should be neat, organized, and able to multi task.
 
*  Interaction with all functional areas of the Company.  
*  Regular communication and technical support with the Processing and Equipment Manufacturing Divisions.  
*  Work in conjunction with Account Managers and Customer Service personnel.  
*  Develop, coordinate and maintain sales channels including training and development.
*  Initiate and maintain customer relationships  
*  Overcome challenges and remove road blocks to generating and close profitable business opportunities
*  Lead all marketing functions including trade shows, literature, direct mailings, technical meetings, etc.  
*  Maintains high standards and professional image of the company on a customer level  
*  30-40% travel
 

Requirements:
*  BS Degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Chemical Engineering  (pharmaceutical, chemistry, polymer or related) or business related field (Marketing, Business Admin.)
*  Strong communications skills (both oral and written)  
*  High energy and enthusiastic individual  

*  Minimum of 5 to 7 years in Sales and Marketing is preferred
*  General knowledge of ISO 9001:2000 and GMP regulations  
*  Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities and establish relationships  
*  Skills in the follow areas: planning, organization, customer focus, results and relationship building
 

Considered a plus:
 *  Knowledge of dry chemical processing
